The Faculty of
Sharia was established in 1388 (2009) within the framework of Tabesh University
in Kabul, Afghanistan. In the same year, the faculty commenced its academic
activities with the Department of Fiqh and Law. At present, it has 196 active
students. In addition, the faculty has graduated a total of 444 students across
eleven cohorts, many of whom are currently serving the country and its people
in various governmental and non-governmental organizations.
Organizational structure
The Faculty consists of the Dean, the Head of the Department of
Fiqh and Law, the Academic Affairs Manager, four permanent academic staff members,
and a number of contractual faculty members.

fields of Islamic Sharia and Law who are guided by the principles of

Objectives
1. To produce qualified professionals in the field of
Islamic Sharia.
2. To strengthen the spirit of moderation and sound
leadership among students.
3. To expand academic programs and establish additional
departments.
4. To recruit more qualified lecturers with Master's and
PhD degrees whenever necessary to ensure high-quality teaching.
5. To publish research papers and scholarly articles
related to Islamic studies in national and international journals.
6. To strive for the development of an effective and
beneficial educational system by utilizing nationally and internationally
recognized best practices.
