Mr. Shabir Ahmad Stanikzai

Mr. Shabir Ahmad Stanikzai is the Head of the Information Technology (IT) Department at the Faculty of Computer Science, Tabesh University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Kunar Sayed Jamaluddin Afghani University, where he graduated in 2015. Mr. Stanikzai has developed a strong academic and professional background in Information Technology, data management, and information systems. His expertise includes information management systems, data analysis, and system administration. With extensive experience in both academia and information systems management, he served as a Lecturer at Nangarhar Teacher Training College for three years. During this period, he played an important role in strengthening students’ technical knowledge and practical competencies in Information Technology and related disciplines. In addition to his academic career, Mr. Stanikzai worked as a Senior HMIS Officer at the International Rescue Committee (IRC), Jalalabad Field Office, for three years. In this role, he was responsible for managing and analyzing health-related data for Primary Health Care (PHC), Nutrition, and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programs. He supervised data collection processes all health facilities, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting to support evidence-based decision-making and program improvement. As the Head of the IT Department at the Faculty of Computer Science, he is committed to delivering quality education aligned with modern academic and professional standards. He emphasizes practical learning, critical thinking, and professional ethics while mentoring students in academic development and technical skill enhancement.
